New to the Flat Creek Estate team in February 2008 is winemaker, Tish Cooper.  She originally calls from Wyoming via Colorado, Oregon and most recently California.  Tish started Fermentation Science at Oregon State University- Corvalis with the intent of becoming a Brewmaster.  Through her major classes she was introduced to viticulture and quickly fell in love with the hands-on agricultural components of viticulture and enology.  This began her journey into the wine lifestyle.

In 2003 she moved to France to study and expand her knowledge and experience.  After deciding one learning curve at a time is enough, she returned alas to California State University- Fresno to finish her degree in Enology.  Since graduating she has been working at a medium size winery in Southern California specializing in Port and Sherry wines.

Reaching a point in life where it is time to anchor, Texas provides great opportunity in winemaking, recreation and an eclectic lifestyle.  Tish is thrilled to be part of such a dynamic team at Flat Creek Estate Winery and Vineyards.  "The sky is the limit!"

Please visit the Winemakers Blog for discussions and updates from Tish.

In October 2006, Food & Wine Magazine named Flat Creek Estate one of “America’s 50 Most Amazing Wine Experiences”.
